Re-educated guest: How to avoid common mistakes and pitfalls when traveling abroad

GuestsYou are responsible for the conduct of your guests, regardless of who they are, when they are present in on-campus housing. If you intend to have visitors or guests in the hall, be aware that you may be subject to disciplinary action because of their behavior. Additionally, residence hall staff members reserve the right to ask any non-resident to leave the residence halls. See also: Visitation

Re-educated guest

Visitation is defined as periodic visits of guests and does not encompass cohabitation in a room, suite, or apartment as each space in university housing may be occupied only by the student to whom it is contracted. Residents are not permitted to loan keys or access cards to guests at any time. Guests are permitted to spend the night; however, the resident must have the explicit consent of the roommate beforehand. However, even with consent, no guest may stay more than 3 nights in a 30-day period.

COVID-19 Visitation and Guest PoliciesDue to gathering restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guest policies listed above may be changed as the university moves to various phases of the pandemic recovery. Please seek guidance about the current guest policy from your Residence Life Coordinator, Assistant Residence Life Coordinator, Resident Assistants, Community Managers, or Assistant Director.

RecreationThe housing areas have a centrally located pool, picnic area, and sand volleyball court for the enjoyment of residents and guests. Basketball courts can be found south of Beta Hall and volley ball courts are located south of Beta, north of Pinnacle, in the Magnolia apartment complex and Greek Village. Courts and outside picnic areas must be reserved for exclusive programs through the appropriate Residence Life Coordinator.

When it comes to dental care, an informed guest is a healthy guest. Take a look at the educational materials we have to offer, and learn everything you can about how to proactively keep your mouth as healthy and fresh as possible.

There are many ways of straightening a smile. Over the last few years, invisible aligners have become a popular and affordable choice for many guests. Invisalign was a pioneer in this type of corrector and leads the market in research, recognition, and success.

Another way to achieve a brighter smile is with veneers. Veneers are custom-made coverings for the front of your teeth. Traditionally made of porcelain, they are crafted to replicate the look of a guest's natural teeth, making them a good option for broken or chipped teeth. While veneers are an option for whitening, they are also used for correcting crooked teeth or closing small gaps, giving the appearance of straighter teeth. Getting veneers is a lengthier process than other whitening methods.

While none of these dental procedures are thought to be painful, guests have different needs and ideas about comfort. Guests with healthy teeth and gums who have no peroxide allergies should do well with any chemical whitening system.

We thank each of you for your careful consideration of these guidelines. Please continue to take care of yourselves and stay well! PERS will continue to review the evolving public health guidance so that all staff and guests may feel comfortable while visiting PERS. Thank you.

With guest access, you can provide access to teams, documents in channels, resources, chats, and applications to people outside your organization, while maintaining control over your corporate data. See Set up secure collaboration with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams. Guest access in Teams is an organization-wide setting and is turned on by default. You can control guest access to individual teams by using sensitivity labels.

A guest is someone who doesn't have a school or work account with your organization. For example, guests may include partners, vendors, suppliers, or consultants. Anyone who is not part of your organization can be added as guest in Teams. This means that anyone with a business account (that is, an Azure Active Directory account) or consumer email account (with Outlook.com, Gmail.com or others) can participate as a guest in Teams, with access to teams and channel experiences.

When you invite a guest to Teams, a guest account is created for them in Azure Active Directory and they are covered by the same compliance and auditing protection as other Microsoft 365 users. Guest access is subject to Azure AD and Microsoft 365 service limits.

Shared channels offer an alternative to guest access, allowing you to invite people outside your organization without requiring a guest account in Azure AD. To compare guest access with shared channels, see Plan external collaboration.

Guest access in Teams requires configuring other settings in Microsoft 365, including settings in Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Groups, and SharePoint. If you're ready to start inviting guests to teams, read one of the following:

In Teams, guests are clearly identified. A guest's name includes the label (Guest), and a channel includes an icon to indicate that there are guests on the team. For more details, see What the guest experience is like.

Guest access can be used with all Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Enterprise, and Microsoft 365 Education subscriptions. No additional Microsoft 365 license is necessary. The billing model for Azure AD External Identities applies to guests in Microsoft 365. Only people from outside your organization can be invited as guests.

You can perform a guest access review yourself, ask guests to review their own access, or ask an application owner or business decision maker to perform the access review. Use the Azure portal to perform guest access reviews. For more information, see Manage guest access with Azure AD access reviews. 2ff7e9595c
